About the Role Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the newly created Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager role offers an exciting opportunity for you to advance your career. You will contribute to strategic planning and lead financial analysis at Jones Radiology, using your insight to influence key decisions and drive meaningful outcomes across the Practice. This role places you at the heart of our growth journey, where your expertise will directly contribute to shaping our financial direction and supporting our broader goals. Key aspects of this role include: - Coordinating the annual budgeting process across the Practice, while maintaining comprehensive 3-way financial models to support budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning.
- Preparing and delivering timely financial reports, forecasts and dashboards. Analysing performance against budget including actuals and variance analysis and communicating key financial trends and insights to department leaders and executives.
- Providing financial analysis to support business initiatives and growth. Assisting with investment cases, equipment acquisitions and service expansion proposals, including preparing business cases and conducting post-implementation reviews. Delivering pricing, cost-benefit and market benchmarking analyses to guide strategic decisions.
- Acting as a trusted finance partner across the Practice. Building strong relationships with executives and managers, helping colleagues interpret reports and use financial tools and communicating financial insights clearly to support their decision-making.
- Ensuring robust financial controls and governance by supporting audit and balance sheet reconciliation processes, assisting with capital and cash management activities and upholding best practices in financial compliance and reporting.
- Continuously improving FP&A processes and systems by identifying opportunities to streamline and automate planning and reporting workflows, implementing best practices within the finance function and championing data accuracy across all financial platforms.
Key Requirements CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent) with a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business or a related field. 3–5 years of proven FP&A experience. Prior experience in healthcare is an advantage but not essential. Demonstrated success leading budgeting and forecasting cycles and delivering detailed financial analysis and reports to business stakeholders. Highly numerate with advanced Excel and financial modelling abilities. Proficiency with financial/ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle) and business intelligence tools is expected. Experience with TM1 and Power BI is highly desirable. Solid understanding of financial statements, cost drivers and key business metrics. Ability to evaluate financial scenarios and provide actionable insights for risk management and commercial outcomes. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and act as a trusted financial advisor to non-financial stakeholders. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail, integrity and a proactive mindset.
