About the Role

This is a newly created role, established to strengthen modality leadership, improve consistency across our clinics and support future innovation at Jones Radiology.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Modality Manager provides strategic oversight of clinical performance and professional standards across all modalities, ensuring consistent delivery of safe, high-quality diagnostic and interventional services.

Leading a team that includes the Chiefs of Modality, MRI Manager, and Nurse Manager, you will coach and develop your leaders in people management and clinical excellence, define capability requirements across the workforce and proactively address current and future skill gaps. You will stay ahead of emerging technologies and best practice to inform how services develop and evolve, working in close partnership with Area Managers to shape a high-performing, future-ready practice.

This is a senior leadership role for someone who is proactive and results-driven, with strong operational capability, excellent communication skills, and the confidence to engage effectively across a diverse range of stakeholders.

Key Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Medical Imaging, Radiography or a related clinical discipline.
• Significant experience in medical imaging, with demonstrated leadership at a senior or management level.
• Proven experience developing and supporting clinical leaders across a team or modality.
• Strong knowledge of clinical and technical practices across one or more imaging modalities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and change leadership skills.
• Sound understanding of professional standards, regulatory requirements, and accreditation frameworks relevant to medical imaging.
• Current or willingness to obtain a National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
• Demonstrated experience in workforce planning, capability development and recruitment.
• Experience developing and implementing training, competency and quality improvement frameworks.
