About the Role

A unique opportunity exists for a newly created MRI Technical Specialist role at Jones Radiology to drive innovation and excellence across our MRI services. You will lead and mentor our Body Part Leads, advancing clinical applications, streamlining protocols and ensuring consistency across our Siemens MRI fleet.

This role is ideal for a technically skilled and forward-thinking MRI Radiographer with a passion for education, research and improving patient outcomes. You will act as a key resource for MRI teams, implement best practice and contribute to a culture of collaboration, high performance and clinical innovation.

Key Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Medical Imaging, with current AHPRA registration.
• Extensive experience in MRI with a strong understanding of Siemens platforms.
• Demonstrated capability in protocol development and image quality optimisation.
• Proven ability to effectively lead and manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication, education and troubleshooting skills. 
• Willingness to participate in on-call and shift work as required.
• Commitment to attending Siemens workshops, relevant training, conferences and professional development activities. 
• Current Working with Children Check and Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain.
