About the Role
We are seeking multiple Medical Imaging Assistants to deliver exceptional patient care while supporting our Radiographers. Primarily based in Mt Barker, you’ll also travel to central Adelaide clinics for training and occasional shift coverage. This full-time role is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in medical imaging, develop valuable skills in healthcare, and be part of a collaborative, fast-paced environment where every day is different.
Support & Training
No prior experience? No problem. You will be provided with comprehensive training to set you up for success from day one. This role involves performing cannulation using needles, with regular exposure to blood and body fluids. The role is highly patient-facing and requires strong communication and teamwork within a clinical environment. Enjoy a collaborative environment with full mentorship and ongoing professional development.
About You
Strong customer service skills with a genuine passion for patient care and empathy.
Previous experience in customer service; experience in a clinical setting will be highly regarded.
A proactive mindset with a demonstrated willingness to learn and contribute positively.
Excellent problem-solving abilities along with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Adaptability and teamwork skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic environment.
Able to work rotating shifts between the span hours of 6am to 9pm.
Willingness to travel to clinics across Mt Barker and central Adelaide.
For safety reasons, you must not have any metal implants in your body, due to MRI safety requirements.
Comfortable working with blood and bodily fluids.
