About the Role 

At Jones Radiology, we are excited to offer a Radiographer an opportunity to expand our services in the Yorke Peninsula region. As a CT Radiographer, you will work collaboratively with the Wallaroo clinic team to deliver a high-quality service to patients and referrers. This position will join a dedicated team led by the Chief Technologist and Area Manager, who will provide daily operational guidance. The Wallaroo clinic operates Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00 pm, with on-call available from 5:00pm until 10:00pm, and on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00am- 10:00pm.

Your key responsibilities:

• Providing high-quality, accurate General X-ray and CT diagnostic imaging services to referrers and patients using your professional skills and knowledge in the best way, contributing to patient care and producing the best clinical outcomes.
• Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff, and managers.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance skills, expertise, and self-capabilities, and keep well-informed of advancements in imaging and technology.

To be successful in this role: 

• Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Medical Imaging) or equivalent.
• AHPRA registration and EPA SA Radiation Licence. 
• Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other medical and non-medical personnel.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to the culture and values of Jones Radiology.
• Ability to perform some weekend and out-of-hours work; on an on-call basis and be compensated accordingly.
