About the Role Reporting to the Officer Manager, the 2IC Office Manager will support the day-to-day operations of the clinic, helping to coordinate the team, manage workflow, and ensure the smooth delivery of our medical imaging services. This role calls for someone who has a passion for providing patient care, has excellent organisation skills and is a genuine team player. You'll also be committed, enthusiastic and possess excellent communication skills, ensuring that we uphold Jones Radiology's brand promise of delivering an outstanding patient experience. This is a part-time position working Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, ideal for someone who enjoys taking on additional responsibility in a busy healthcare environment while maintaining work-life balance. To support continuity of clinic operations, you may also be required to work across our other clinic locations from time to time. Key Responsibilities - Supporting daily operations, workforce planning, and service delivery to optimise productivity, asset utilisation, and patient care.
- Assisting with team leadership to provide clear direction to staff, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and fostering teamwork and collaboration.
- Helping to manage staff onboarding, training, and performance to enhance capabilities and ensure continuous development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, clinicians, and the community to support engagement and service delivery.
- Assisting with the smooth running of clinic operations.
- Supporting a positive, collaborative and efficient team environment.
- Stepping into the Office Manager’s responsibilities when required.
About you - Previous medical receptionist or call centre experience (highly desirable)
- Strong customer service skills and experience
- Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellence in patient care and/or customer service
- Basic understanding of medical imaging terminology and procedures
- Proven ability and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
- Demonstrated high energy and a proactive positive attitude
- A strong attention to detail
- Confident computer skills
